I'm Jacci Freimond-Rudling, I live in Cape Town with my family and two dogs. I have a studio at home which suits me just fine. I split my time between doing graphics, illustration of school books and photography.

I travel to Italy once a year to spend about 6 weeks in a small town called Cetona in southern Italy. I love, love, love Florence, always spend a few days there. I love the people, the lifestyle - the way they still have the time in the evening for 'passeggiata' a walk and a get together with friends in the 'piazza'. I love the food, and the little old lady who sells the freshest fruit and veg in her little shop in town. Mostly I love observing, meeting people through the lens of my camera. Capturing a time and place that is fast disappearing.

JacciR DESIGN is a virtual design studio, as long as I have WiFi and a power supply, I am ready for business. My love of design, travel and an inquisitive mind means that I am always searching for new influences, places that inspire me and exciting opportunities. I have over twenty years experience in the graphic design field, so lucky to be able to combine all my loves in an exciting career that sees me working here in South Africa as well as in Italy each year.

I have three camera's which I use all the time, a Canon EOS 500D, a Minolta X300 and my trusted iPhone 5.... but, I have a guilty secret as well, I am a sucker for old Brownie cameras, have two Box Brownies, a Starlight and a few Polaroid cameras. At the moment I am reacquainting myself with the Minolta, you see it is a 35mm camera, and you have to do all the 'stuff' yourself. As anyone who shoots digital will tell you it takes some getting used to to have to do all the set ups manually. I am loving playing though and use it for black and white photos.
