Hi, Howdy and Sawubona. Welcome to JacciR DESIGN's brand new blog. I'll be blogging regularily, interestingly and with a bit of madness along the way. Let me explain, my plan is to be the wandering designer in a virtual studio. Travel being my passion, Italy has stolen my heart. So as long as I have wifi - iffy at best in the small Tuscan town that I call home for far too few weeks each year - and my trusted laptop I am ready to go. Having said this the husband left today for a 3 week trip, so it seems that the wandering designer is not wandering at the moment - sadly, but, I guess I had my trip in June.
It works like this, every June / July I head off to a small town in Tucany called Cetona. I work, I walk, I explore, I wonder and I dream of being there for longer. I love the connectedness of the people in this small town, I love that they know their neighbours, they know their family. Each and every evening, the people come out and walk, chat, have a drink and watch the next generations become the people they are going to be. Another generation hopefully to understand and appreciate the joy of being a part of that extended family.
